BE YE TRANSFORMED

Tell of His love in the book He has given;

Wonderful things in the Bible I see;

5. If one should ask of me, how can I tell?

Glory to Jesus, I know very well!

God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,

Constantly witnessing-Jesus loves me.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy 1:15

BIBLE READING 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-11

9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11. And such were some of you; but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

MESSAGE

There are certain things that God sees as abominations. These things put a barrier between Him and man.

Abominations or sins, have remained in the world since the fall of man.

Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Paul, in Romans 7:24, lamented the wretchedness of a sinful man.

However, when anyone becomes born again, there is a transformation that will make him/her stay away from abominations.

Jesus is the only transformer of life (Acts 4:12). This is why after meeting Jesus, Paul was able to make the statement in the memory verse of today.

Jesus paid the supreme price to redeem us from the curse of the law (Matthew 26:28).

In Matthew 11:28, He made a call of transformation to all men and He is still calling on you today.

He wants you to be free from the burden of sin by giving you power to live above it.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – (2 Corinthians 5:17)

If we would be saved at last and have a walk worthy of our calling, we must know that answering the call to transformation is not negotiable.

This is Gods will for us as we see in Romans 12:2:

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Once you have submitted yourself to God, He will begin the work of transformation in your life.

Today, the choice of transformation and freedom has been left in your hands. Heed the divine call now.

PRAYER POINT

Father, let there be a renewing of my mind every day, in line with Your perfect will, in the mighty name of Jesus.
